Our founder is Christopher Deaver, CPA. Chris has broad base of helpful experience to pull from. Before starting the Deaver CPA Firm, LLC., Chris was Vice President of Finance for a controlled group with 10 different entities. Chris has a very diverse background. From retail automotive parts in Harlingen, to govermental contracting in Arabia, to major pipeline projects in West Africa, to supervising an $80 million dollar a month international consolidation for a publicly traded company in Houston, Texas, Chris has been solving big accounting challenges. This is the type of experience you just cannot get from working in a small CPA Firm.
Chris always works backwards from the big picture to the details. Getting the accounting right requires a focus on more than just getting the tax return right. The complexities of a business must be understood on multiple levels to create the right solution. Besides his understanding of taxation, Chris has a strong grasp of business strategy, financial analysis, and business valuation and is often able to quickly assist clients in generating ideas to solve problems and improve their businesses.
